Straight answers, before you even ask.
The things people usually want to know before inviting someone into their home. Anything else — call or text (805) 390-6425 and ask Rosa directly.
How does the flat rate work?
Tell us about your home — online in about two minutes, or over the phone — and Rosa confirms one flat rate before anything is scheduled. You're never billed by the hour, so a visit that runs long is her concern, not yours.
Do I need a walkthrough to get a price?
No. Describe your home (bedrooms, bathrooms, the kind of clean you want) and Rosa confirms your rate from there. No one needs to come out first.
What's included in a regular visit?
Kitchen surfaces and the outside of appliances, bathrooms top to bottom, all floors vacuumed and mopped, dusting of reachable surfaces, trash emptied, and a tidy of the common areas. Deep cleans and move-in/out cleans go further — baseboards, vents, inside cabinets and more.
Is there anything you don't do?
Yes, and we say it up front: laundry, changing bed linens, full-concierge maid service are never part of a home clean. (Short-term rental turnovers are the exception — those can include fresh linens and laundry as a premium add-on.) Rosa is a house cleaner, not a full-concierge maid service, and clear expectations are part of the craft.
Are you a maid service?
People often use that term, and that's fine — but Rosa is an independent house cleaner, not a franchise maid service. In practice that means the same trusted person at your door each visit, one clear flat rate, and no rotating crews of strangers. Same great house cleaning, just done the personal way.
Do you bring your own supplies?
Yes — the team arrives fully equipped. If you'd rather certain products be used in your home, mention it in your request and Rosa will talk it through with you.
Who will actually be in my home?
Rosa and her small team — the same people each visit, not a rotating crew. The person you meet on day one is the person who keeps your home clean.
¿Hablan español?
Sí. Rosa is bilingual — every call, text, and visit can happen in English or in Español, whichever is more comfortable for you.
Can I arrange cleaning for my parents?
Yes — you're welcome to set everything up for a parent and stay the point of contact. Tell us in your request who we should coordinate with, and Rosa takes it from there. See our page on house cleaning for seniors for how it works.
Is house cleaning for seniors covered by Medicare or insurance?
Standard house cleaning generally isn't covered by Medicare, though some long-term-care policies or in-home-care benefits may help — it's worth checking with your specific plan. Rosa's part stays simple either way: one clear flat rate, the same familiar person each visit, and everything arranged by phone in English or Español.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. One-time cleans come with zero obligation to book again, and recurring visits continue because you want them to — weekly, biweekly, or monthly.
Which areas do you serve?
Simi Valley, Moorpark, Thousand Oaks, Oak Park, Westlake Village and Newbury Park. If you're just outside a boundary, ask — Rosa will tell you straight.
How do I get started?
Send the two-minute quote request, or call or text (805) 390-6425. Rosa personally confirms your flat rate and a time that works.
Ask for a quote — it commits you to nothing.
Two minutes to tell us about your home. Rosa confirms a clear flat rate, and the decision stays yours.
